first off there are no hopeless crushes. if there is a commonality, then there is hope for more. if there is no commonality, then just focus on what it is that makes you want this person; is it looks? is it personality? is it the way they carry themselves? if its something that's tangible then focus on that. admire the trait that attracts you, but don't obsess. an unrequited love is very painful, but a potential friendship can last forever.

Start looking at all the guys around you. You may find one that is cuter than you thought, and maybe nicer, and maybe he talks to you a little more. Maybe then, you'll have a new crush.

time heals it all. Remember their are plenty out there, and although it may be rough right now, just give it a little bit. Things always will turn for the better before getting worse.

As much as you choose someone, they also choose you. It's only when both these choices match that it works out. Otherwise, I can only guess that the best thing you can tell yourself is that the other person disqualified him/herself. Because it can be unbearably hard to make yourself dislike someone you knew you liked.

i'd love to help but i'm in THE SAME SITUATION and it sucks... I know it does. The only thing that makes me relax is that we'd DIE for this person... but there are SO MANY OUT THERE THAT'D DIE FOR US BUT we have our minds soooo closed to this crush who doesn't give a s*** about us that we can't see it! And because of this, you might LOSE MEETING THE LOVE OF YOUR LIFE.
