I try to simply be the best parent I am capable of, everyday. Determining success is different for everyone. For me , If my children are educated, hard working, kind, and compasionate adults I will feel as though I've done a good job. We must remember that the job of parenting is a never ending job, it lasts a lifetime.

I don't think that you ever know for sure. You just do your best & pray a lot! Seriously, Most parents don't realize whether or not they've done a good job until their children are grown & still choose to come to them for advise. Better yet, If your child trusts you to take care of your grandchildren, you know you have done a good job.

It depends on how your kids turn out. If they become responsible adults who can hold jobs and stay out of trouble, you have done your job well.
