"Black paganism" is a very small and disorganized part of the neopagan pantheon. Basically, it's paganism influenced by the left-hand paths (Satanism [both LaVeyan and theistic], seitheism, the Temple of Set, etc.). It practices "black magick."

Essentially, it doesn't really exist except in the minds of teens who think they are special because they are witches. About the closest thing to "black paganism" is theistic Satanism, in which Satan is the chief god among many gods. Aleister Crowley was essentially a theistic Satanist.

Dark paganism and "black paganism" are definitely not synonymous.

There is no such thing, one either is or is not pagan. I am curious where you heard the term though.

Probably someone needed an ego boost so they came up with a term that sounded "bad"
