when trying to download films on limewire i dont seem to get any hosts plus the speed is very slow and it wont download anything for me. do you know why this is please help thanks

When you are connected to the web open limewire. Go to the top left corner and click on file, then connect.

first question? limewire pro or limewire basic? if its basic switch to pro, you can get it free at

this will give you good download speeds and access to loads of films. i have no problems with limewire pro, the other thing you can look at is your firewall is it configured to allow limewire to run correctly, if not change the settings, hope this has helped have fun

Adrian Limewire is full of pc virus hidden in files and it slows down your pc. I would never go near Limewire. Run a scan now!

Try frostwire, it is a Limewire Pro clone.
Get it free from:-
www.frostwire.com
But always use a good anti-virus program to check the files.

I use limewire pro for my music and have always found it great.However you are better off using u torrent or bearshare to download films.

If you are downloading movies, you need to research "torrent" files...get a program called "azureus"... you will not have any problems getting any movie known to man once you figure it out
