Jews do not believe Jesus was the Messiah. I think they believe that he was a prophet, or maybe a great teacher.

There are "Jews for Jesus".
If, you have a Bible, read Romans 11:25-27. This should let you understand what is happening. Which makes Jews for Jesus even more interesting for myself.

Yes. Except for "Messianic" Jews, who do believe in Jesus as Lord.

They are still waiting for the Messiah because they where looking for a king in the worldly sense. They also don't believe he was the son of God. We are all sons and daughters of God Christ was the pure self realized son of God. go to http://www.essene.org for all the truths that have been covered up for centuries. Jesus does not match the Jewish description of the coming messiah.

Yes and yes.

They sure missed the boat because Jesus did indeed fullfill the scripture prophecies of his time.

Also, since the Romans destroyed all genealogical records in the year 70 ad, they cannot trace the heritage of anyone claiming to be their Messiah. A lost tribe indeed.
