Go shopping together just to "check out" rings and watch for a reaction to see which style they like. Then figure your budget and when your ready pick a ring based on what she liked. This worked for my husband. I saw 4-5 rings that I really liked and he went back and purchased one similar to one of my favorites.
Good Luck

I would first go by price.... usually two months salary is enough for the wedding ring.... then you go by your fiances taste... some girls like round, square, or emerald cut diamonds... you should nocholantly talk with your fiance,, I am sure one you reallly start talking about wedddings she will volunteer information about rings she likes. Good Luck

You can always take the person the ring is for just "looking" then when they go "OOOOHHH" over a ring then go back later and get it.
