I served at Great Lakes, and 4 yrs 1 month on USS Conolly only the best Spruance class destroyer ever made. The Connolly DD-979 is the only destroyer of it's kind left. They are trying to turn it into a museum. To see the old girl. go to dd979.com

If you go from the Navy, Army or Air Force into the Marines you have to go through boot camp for the Marines. A Marine going to any other service does not have to repeat the boot camp/basic experience. Marine Corps boot camp is the longest and hardest of all of the services.

I was in the Vanguard at NAS Norfolk. Good old HM-14. Undez pc in 310, 95 to 97.
