I have a big crush on a Pakistani guy at work (born and bread in England and not practicant). We chat, we flirt a bit and I've met one of his brothers.
I've only been in England for a couple of years and do not know if it is part of their culture to date white girls or what is their dating code.
What are my chances of going out with him? Or what shall I do to put all the chances on my side given the difference of cultural background.

Forget culture just ask him out. If it's not what he does he will tell you but chances are his answer will have more to do with how acceptable it is to his family than culture.

Well, I am not in England, but I would think that England having a large Indian/Pakistani population would have people of different cultures/religions dating. Do you see inter-racial/religious/cultural couples where you are located and in restaurants, etc? That would be a good indicator.
The only other reservation I would have (which has nothing to do with his culture or religion) is whether you would want to get involved with someone that you work with. Those types of relationships can be tricky in themselves.

How can you be a non practising Pakistani? Surely you are or you aren't? It's not like a choice is it? So today I'll be a non practising Scot! I wont drink Whisky or eat porridge, I wont wear tartan, I'll put ma Broons annual down and take ma proclaimers cd out the player!!

Some will go out with white girls and others won't because of their religion / culture.
When your chatting one day, and the conversation comes to a new film say you'd like to see it and then ask if he'd like to go with you. Better than a meal first date because of things muslims dont eat

you have a big chance because alot of pakistani/muslim guys date all women (asian...black....white....etc) it doesnt really matter
there is a dating code or something but most guys dont follow it its the gurls that stick to dating da same race
so yea u do have a chance

First, does your company have any policies about intra-office dating? I know some do.
Let him know your interested, ask him out. That is how you will learn. Maybe he only dates white girls. You never know.

ask him whether his parents are strict muslims. If they are..then u almost have no chance...
