the best thing for 14 yrs olds to do for gifts is something fun!!!
do you live by the snow, get the two of you day passes to go snow boarding.
or is he into a team, or play sports, or any hobby?? then get him something related to that. (jursey, poster, calander, gear, etc.)

Give him soemthing from the heart. Burn him a CD of your favorite songs, make him a gift basket with items from Dollar Tree, make him a Christmas card with your picture on it.

Well, what does he want or need? Most guys that age seem to be into video games, but perhaps you can get him a nice shirt or sweater, or a nice cologne.

I am 14 too, I would probably get him something I knew he would like...Something cute, but not too girly. Maybe like a fleece blanket of his favorite sports team or something...

cds are universal if u kno wat music he likes to listen to... movies... somethin that wouldnt be expensive, but he would probably think as sweet is a calendar with pictures of you for each month... (gotta get creative on that one)... um maybe a hat... GOOD LUCK!!! :)
