It all depends if Mike Tyson plays fair...

Ali all the way! At his prime Ali was just too quick. Even Tyson could not have gotten a clear shot! And Tyson's 1-2 round length matches just didn't give him any experience to go for long matches and stay with someone with the class of Ali.

Ali for two reasons (1) Ali proved that he could take a pounding when he beat George Foreman and Sonny Liston, both of whom probably hit harder than Tyson (2) Lennox Lewis was able to beat Tyson (in their 2002 match and when they were both amateurs in sparing matches) and Lewis is no more than a slower version of Ali. I think the better match would be between Ali and Lewis.

Interesting question. Assuming both were at their career peaks, I would go with Tyson. Tyson would corner Ali and waste him. Then again, Ali could do the smart thing and run around the ring all night, avoiding the fight. He was the master at that. Well, him and sugar ray leonard.

There is only one answer to this question and that is Ali was the greatest and still is he would of made tyson so mad he would of made so many mistakes to the quick hands of the greatest and would not see the puches coming and get hit so many times and get beat in the later rounds.ALI ALI ALI ALI ALI

Ali would be way too clever for Tyson. Ali would've had Tyson beat before they even got into the ring. Ali got into opponents minds and screwed with them. Pure boxing genius.

Ali would be to fast for him. Tyson would really have to finish him quick. Brawlers unless they have good stamina don't like going more than 5 rounds remember Buster Douglas. Tyson likes to hit hard and finish quick. Ali hits fast but likes to finish later. Ali is also a good counter puncher. Ali by far

Ali would get it done. Both fighters in their prime........Tyson has proven only one thing to the boxing community. That in ANY street fight in our country....the world for that matter.....that Tyson is the best candidate to have in YOUR corner. Having a smashing right hand...or being able to intimidate your opponents does NOT make you a true boxing champion. Enter in Mohamed Ali. He possessed those attributes and more. Could fight you...to include street.....and could be a pure boxer. Nuff said.
