We have been dating for 3+ months, and I love him, actualy i'm totaly in love with him. Why is it that he can only say he loves me when he has been drinking? And then only after I say it? He acts like he is also totaly in love with me, holding hands, picking on me, wonderfuly "touchy feely" made it a huge deal that I meet all his friends and family and they all like me alot. We have been away together on 1 trip and are about to go away for a week. He says he loves me but doesnt. I really dont get that!? To me it's balck and white, you do or dont, dont spare my feelings, i just want to know the truth! I know 3 months isnt a long time but if you say that you love me then you love me, i'm not going to change in any way i'm who i was yesterday and 3 months ago. I'm a very true person. I JUST DONT UNDERSTAND IT. And when a guy says he is "all In: what in the heck does that mean? I asked he all he said was everything, WHAT IS EVERYTHING? PLEASE HELP!!!

My husband was exactly the same way. He's scared sh**less! Give him time and don't be pushy. I did say my HUSBAND! My husband had been deeply crushed by an ex and had vowed to never make that mistake again. I was in total love with him for a year and had to play the "just a friend" role. He finally came around!

OK so he says he's all in. Well some guys have a real issue with saying I love you. SOme say it makes them not feel like a man. I would say all in means sort of I love you. Still not as good. But give it time. If he does love you, you will know when he asks you to marry him. I wouldn't change any way not at all. Just keep telling him you love him, he hsould come around eventually. Like with my wife I was the first to tell her I loved her, then she followed. Now that she left me, I tell her I love her and she says she really likes me. But I know that deep in her heart she still loves me. And you can tell if someone really loves you, even if they don't say it. Just by the way they act and they look at you. Maybe try not going on any trips with him til he admits that he loves you.

all in means he's totally into you. he likes/loves you alot, and that he belongs to you!
the reason he might not ever say he loves you is because he doesnt want to rush it. some guys have a fear of love (of course they wont admit it). when he's drunk and he says it back, he is relaxed and not nervous about it. when hes sober, he might be afraid to use the word, and might be afraid that it will bite him in the butt some how. you should never pressure someone into saying that they love you, cuz he might say it to shut you up and not really mean it. just as long as you are happy together who really cares. he will eventually warm up to the word and his emotions and say it to you when you least expect it.

I can assure you, you wouldn't want him at the opposite end of the spectrum, either. A balance would probably be nice, but you can take it or leave it, knowing that he does care or you can look for another guy that will tell you he does, too.

he likes you a lot but due to personal problems in his life its hard for him to express those feeling but when he drinks the liquor acts as a concise blocker that allows him to express his feelings show him that he can trust you with his heart
