If they are legalizing pot, there will be a huge influx of individuals seeking refuge from the hassles of legal matters prohibiting pot possession and usage in public. As of now, states such as California allows pot possession and usage under certain licensing.
As far as whether or not it will effect Nevada positively or negatively, it depends on who will be judging it. Conservatives will look down upon Nevada and look to politicians who go against the initiative while opportunist politicians will not openly oppose it in order to win the votes of the younger populous. I think an opinion pole taken by the general public will yield an answer that says they don't really care.
As far as for those who have served incarseration time for something that may be rethought as legal, that's something to think about.

I imagine it would be for medicinal purposes only. If someone can get some relief from whatever ails them, then I am all for it. If this nation ever legalized pot for recreational use and regulated it, the amount of money made from taxes and the like would be tremendous.

As someone who does not smoke pot... Marijuana is way less risky than alcohol or tobacco, and is not bodily addictive, or perhaps as it may not provide the exact same reviews for leisure use, it could be a in good structure and safer possibilities to those deadly yet criminal drugs. in accordance to particularly some web pages, listed decrease than, besides as valid advocates for marijuana coverage reform who I have heard, the enforcement of cutting-edge marijuana coverage costs taxpayers diverse money and unnecessarily crowds our already crowded prisons. by technique of legalizing Marijuana, it could be taxed and may want to earn the state and nationwide authorities more effective money, and may want to create jobs. it really is a drug that alters your state ideas, so utilising even as extreme might want to be risky, as can another activities, yet, back, so does alcohol, and that is not what you're arguing. As a school student, i comprehend diverse those who smoke diverse Marijuana and get more effective perfect grades than I do. i imagine the more effective nicely perfect thanks to state your first 2 sentences will be "a lot of lazy and stupid human beings, fairly on movie and tv, use pot." yet i do not imagine pot makes you stupid.

I don't care, as long as it's very heavily regulated by the government. I'd rather have it decriminalized than legalized, though. Pot is only really dangerous when you use it for a long time.

I think it should be legalized and moderated like any other drug. There are too many people in prison on drug related charges serving more time than a person who has actually committed murder. Something is horribly wrong with our legal system.

I think it's cool as long as it's only small amounts, but then the government has another thing to tax and a way to take more of our money.

Good for them! Prohibition never helped anyone. You'd think the 18th and 21st Amendments to the US Constitution would have taught us something...
