Being originally from Illinois and just having moved to Arizona I would say more then likely yes! The state of Illinois laws are stupid! Did you know it is actually illegal to dance in the streets of Peoria after midnight! This is an actual law! Illinois sucks move as soon as you can! As for it actually being illegal I don't know I think you should check with the post office and your local police department.

As a martial arts instructor, I have personally ordered throwing knives, spikes, sais, and swords and my son ordered a bow with arrows. Our schools are in the Chicagoland area (Glendale Heights), so it shouldn't be a problem. I don't know about blowguns though. As the other person said, check with the city's post office to make sure.

everybody here has had good answers, most times the online storefront or catalog will let you know whether or not what items they can or can't ship to which states.

and to be safer or even better, more up to date about what weapons restrictions is to ask the Post Office or the local law enforcement agencies.

the items that have the most shipping restrictions are knives or throwing spikes or any kind of small concealable edged weapons.

most places ship by UPS or Federal Express though (because it's much easier to track their barcodes via online) and not usually by the post office unless it's requested.

Who cares? If you think that someone will look at what you're sending, then you might want to check with the IL laws, along with your laws as well. But, if you're just going to drive up there with them, who really gives a poo? Just take them up there. Lol.

Better check with your local authorities, and the postal service, other wise you can get into big trouble.
