I just recently broke up with a 29 yr old woman. I'm 24 and the relationship lasted 9 months. Everything was perfect in the begining and went well through the middle. The last month of the relationship though, she became very troubled and distant. It became harder to spend time with her due to her job, family and her trying to get into grad school. I went a whole month without saying anything becuase I knew she was very stressed and busy. I finally said something and she looked at me and said, you're right...i don't have time right now to be your gf. We work together and we see each other every now and then. I still talk to her and have ensured her that I want her back as soon as she deals with her issues. Its been a month and I don't know what to do now. Should I just continue being that friend type or should i try to ask her out to lunch or something. I don't want this too drag too long and have her forget about me.
