It is very sad, but I see it all the time. Most guys are so afraid of rejection. If you are pretty they figure they do not have a chance and won't even ask for fear of being rejected. If you are shy is another things that seems to scare them away. They look at you as if you are stuck up and again won't ask you out for fear of rejection. I think there are far too many insecure guys out there who want the girl to ask them first and that just isn't the way it should be. Good luck and if you are pretty and shy, just try to be a little more outgoing, not pushy, just smile and be friendly and see if that helps.

People are scared of rejection so that makes them nervous when it comes to asking people out.

Yep it's because of rejection. For a few (like myself) it takes one rejection to bring down confidence hence asking the next girl out harder.

Because they are not confident in themselves, which is a major turn off to girls. Girls like MEN who are confident in themselves, its sexy than those guys who are "nervous" to ask a girl out. GROW SOME BALLS GUYS!
