eih age is not a basis of having a good relationship..it's the mutual love, respect and understanding of each other..not how old you are..though it could affect the relationship but if you would work to settle the difference then it's nothing..good luck

i agree that a few years shouldn't matter! my 22 year old friend is dating a guy who is 30, and my co-worker is 21 and engaged to someone who is 27. They all have the same maturity level as their partner and they couldn't be happier!

I have a question about the legal aspect of dating someone who isn't quite 18 yet... I'm not sure of the specific rules for that... like what if the people are 17 and 21? I was told that as long as the couple are not having sex then a 16 year old can date someone up to 4 years older then them... is that true?

I totally agree that age shouldnt play a role in the area of love. However if you are treading in the area of a minor dating an adult age is very important for obvisous reasons. A few years in age difference shouldnt be a problem, exspecially in todays society.
good luck

In all realtiy it wont mater at all. If however both of you are real young as in you are 15 and hes 18 or visa versa then it would be wise to wait til one of you becomes of age for the sake of legalities and even your parents. The hard part is waiting it out. Are the both of you willing to make that sacrafice. Now if your ages are both above 18 then there is no issue. :)

Not at all! Age doesn't matter, the feelings involved do... unless it's like a 22 year old and a 16 year old, then they should wait a while...

Age does not matter.Unless it is a 12 year old with a 32 year old or something like that.My sister is 20 and she got married to my cousin who is 30.
Hope This Helped! : - )

You can't decide who you'll have feelings for, 'a few years' could me different things but if the two of you are comfortable with the difference and its legal then it shouldnt matter

No, not unless it's like a huge distance. It's better when you're older to have different age relationships.

no, not at all! i've always dated guys older than me. just watch out for where you both are at mentally. if you still want to go to clubs and bar, and he wants to start a family... you will end up in some fights. just make sure you have future plans talked about.
