For the same reason that I do..but dogs are just as happy with ANY cut of meat..or chicken or fish.

Because dogs still retain a g reat many of their ancient instincts, dating back to when they lived in the wild, and they were forced to live by what they could catch. They are natural carnivors, and their digestive tracts are still largely designed to receive meat, which is why all the vets I have ever known over my long years in the company of dogs, have said that it was misguided to try and make a vegetarian out of your pet, just because YOU happen to be one.
