After 6 mos she said she needed some time to "refind" herself on Friday, then texted me about 20 times each of the last couple of days. It was cool, I responded, but just being sorta friendly only, at least for a while. I finally told her I was going out tonight and said I figured it'd be too late for her but she was welcome to come, too. She declined politely. I want this girl back when she's ready but she's stringing both of us along (I'm not really mad but frustrated). So, when she texts me tomorrow and asks how my night was, I think I'll just say, "It was good." and leave it at that. Too cold or just right?

Sounds good to me. Keep it friendly and cool. Then she may just find that what she really wants is to be with you after all.

"it was good"... leaves her to believe that things are good without her...and you are not waiting around for her...

"it was ok".... might make her thing a little deeper into it... she might think that you wished she was there, or that you really didn't have that great of a time... it might get her to ask more questions about it.....

What response are you looking for?
