Hey Jen! don't listen to Newyork, a lot of guys like girls that have some tomboy in them. I grew up with 8 brothers, and I was a tomboy all through high school. Today I'm tough enough to get the job done, and yet still be very feminine at the same time. Yesterday I was shopping in Tractor Supply (store here in Texas) and this guy said to me, its nice to see a good Texas gal with work ethics like you, and still knows how to look and act feminine. So Jen, you already are a girl, that's a step in the right direction, now just slowly start changing little by little the way you dress and act. Pay attention to some of the girls at school, see what they are wearing. If I'm right, I think they still wear jeans to school just about every day. So there you go, get you some cute tops, and maybe a little lip gloss. Oh you know what is in style now, it's pony tails, you could try wearing your hair like that a few times.Boys like pony tails. You know what Jen, don't ever change your self just because someone else wants you to though. And one more thing, when these girly girls are standing around trying to be pretty, you might be over there some where having fun dirt biking, or what ever kids are doing today. Have fun Jen..............enjoy life, stay young as long as you can. My father used to tell me when I was a young girl growing up "Always keep a little girl in you" so I am now passing that advice on to you. I still live by those rules today.
Hugs to you.
Texas girl

If you're not happy with your profile, it's easy to change the way you dress, hair style, etc. Just don't try to change your personality, you are a unique individual. Look at your favorite magazines. There are always style and fashion articles to read. Look at the types of clothes you think would look good on you, and what hair style you would like to work with. Don't just have a complete make over and shock everyone. Perhaps change your clothing style first, then after you get a few complements from different outfits, try a new hair style. Your manners and actions will have a lot to do with being more feminine too, practice up on them as well. It won't happen overnight, but you can study up on it as you go along, and in time you can change your image.

I was a tom boy in my early teens and because most of my friends were boys, but I kind of grew out of it when I got to about 16. Some women are more laddette as we call them now, because they are afraid of having the fuller figure of normal women and because of the emphasis upon fashion and thiness and youth.
To break away from the laddette style, I would do things slowly and get used to gradually wearing something feminine like a pair of earrings that are pretty rather than loops that look horrid on women. The smaller changes are the best and if you suddenly force yourself to look like something you wouldn't feel at all comfortable or familiar in, you will scare yourself away.
Start simple and small - that is the key. If you normally wear a base-ball cap, try wearing a scarf instead that is a pretty colour and lots of celebrities wear hair scarfs like Kylie Minougue. I know she had cancer and this is why she wore it, but lots of famous people wear hair scarfs and they can look very pretty if in light colours.
If you normally wear trainers or sneakers, try wearing a similar style of sneaker in a different colour that looks feminine in pink or light blue. Things like skirts will take some time to get used to but you don't have to wear a skirt to look feminine. Bootlegs jeans that flair at the bottom are very pretty and doesn't matter what top you wear as long as it isn't too grunge-style.
A pair of stunning earrings can make you look glamorous and pretty no matter what you are wearing and will certainly change you immediatley. Lip gloss is good if you don't like lip-stick and just getting used to wearing it will help.
These things take time, so be patient and experiment as it is only through the smaller things that you begin to get more comfortable with the bigger changes!

Well that's easy!! Go to your closet and empty out all of your clothes then go to the store and buy jewlry, shoes, and clothes but think cheerleader or cute hot mama not hey I like these shorts to jog or soccer! Believe me I know I am a girly girl. When I was little I loved being a tom-boy because I played soccer and softball but then I started cheerleading and that's when I became a girly girl.

MTV made hahaha that's funny! I say you watch girly girl movies. Why do you want to be a girly girl any how? Girly girls are annoying. It's cool to be a girl but relate to boy things. That way you have more common with guys when you have a boyfriend.

Well instead of wearing gym shoes all the time, go out and buy some really cute pumps and stilletoes. Instead of wearing your adidas pants, buy some cute dressy capris or dress pants or a cute skirt. Jeans are cute also, but not baggy jeans with paint stains and holes on them. Make sure they are in style. Instead of that Nike hoody, show off that body! Wear some cute button up shirts, or a nice or casual shirt that shows some skin. Also, number one rule ACCESORIZE!!!! Buy some necklaces, bracelets, earrings that go with your girls. Curl your hair or straighten it and wear some make up. Get your nails done and go tanning. Do something cute and new to your hair from cutting it to dying it or putting some highlights in it. Be creative!!!

Change your wardrobe first -- if you're dressed like a girl rather than a boy you will start acting more feminine. Also I've noticed that most tom boys are loud, aggressive and outspoken, so try to get rid of these traits if you have them.

Don't do it - be true to yourself.
But if you must............
You can adopt a whole range of beauty regimes, that will give you something really boring to talk about to other girly girls. Growing your hair is probably the best way to look more feminine.
Wear lots of pink.
Go to sleepovers. Have a best friend who is less attractive than you. Become more superficial.
Do you really have to do this?

i think it should be a natural change. if you try really hard, then you'll feel frustrated and you won't feel like "yourself" anymore.
you should try the the obvious, clothes, make up. but also focus on the way you behave and talk. a girl can have guy friends, and like the things they do, but try avoiding things that are inappropriate, like...... dunno, cursing or spitting... stuff that are "vulgar" that to any sensible person would be inappropriate.
enjoy, becoming a woman, you didn't say your age, so i don't know if your body is just changing, or you're starting to get interested in boys. so just embrace these new things, but never forget your true self, everybody will appreciate that.
