How about Chilli Con Carne & call him Carney for short?
Or, if you want a people name, how about Rupert? That can be affectionately abbreviated to Ru ... if he looks like a Ru.
Finally, a doggy name ... back when I was young dogs in books were normally called (amongst some other things, lol) Fido or Phideaux (if one was really posh) .. so final suggestion, Fido.

I have always wanted a Papillon (kinda like a long-haired Chihuahua) and I want a white one with black and brown spots. If it was a girl I'd name it Pixie or Princess and If it was a Boy I'd name it Pogo!

Our little girl Chihuahua is named Lily Boo! You could google Spanish baby names and find one, I bet. Our Lily Boo's father is named Tito.
