I think you may be on to something.

The answer can be found without even getting into what is removed or allowed to remain posted. Just check out the avatar selection, if you care to waste 5 minutes. You can find a t-shirt with a rainbow, or AIDS ribbon/awareness theme for your avatar character, but no other moral, political or religious affiliations are offered (other than a couple breast cancer pink ribbons).

1.) Go to your home page
2.) Select "edit my info"
3.) Select "Edit my Yahoo! Avatar"
4.) Click the "Apparel" tab
5.) Click "tops" right beneath the tab
- Click No. 7 - see "World AIDS day"
- Click No. 8 - Another World AIDS day, plus "National Coming Out Day"

I don't think there are any people running Yahoo answers. I've had answers reported that were accurate and not at all in violation of their rules. Asking for an explanation just gets an auto-answer bot that just repeats the same thing.

The machines are the only things runnin' at Yahoo!answers. It seems to be a self censored site that is run by the so-called "COMMUNITY". Leftists would leave us more to read. :o)

I'm not sure, but I think that in general, they only delete something if it is reported as offensive by someone. It is a judgment call and I suppose if someone is offended by something, then that something is offensive by definition.

I haven't noticed any particular left or right leaning, though there might be, and I have missed it. Either way, I think this forum is a great place for people to communicate.

Yes! They are a bunch of leftwing azzholes! They deleted one of my questions for NO REASON! Look what I found in my mailbox:

Deleted Question: Will liberals cry when Saddam dies?

Question Details: When they execute poor Saddam will the libs stage a big protest like they did for murderer/gang leader "Tookie" Williams? Probably so.

Reason of Violation:Community Guidelines Violation

WTF is wrong with this?

I don't think so. I posted a pretty liberal question and it was deleted (for supposedly violating policy). So go figure. I just think there are some knuckleheads on both sides of the fence out there trying to shut people up if they don't agree with them.

Depends on your point of view, I guess...for the majority of America, no. For extreme right wing dittoheads, probably so. Because anyone who does not subscribe to the extremist social conservative agenda of the dittohead neocons is considered to be a "liberal socialist", including we moderate, fiscally-conservative Republicans who feel disenfranchized and abandoned by the right-wing of the GOP, who are trying to run this country like Nazi Germany was.

Do like me. Abandon the Republicans and vote the Democratic ticket tomorrow. Its time for the GOP to go.
