I am 18 and my boyfriend's 33. I really like him but have only been dating him a few months. Is it even worth it to try? Can I ever be friends (which is what I really want out of a relationship) with or understand a guy this much older than me?

The numbers of years difference would not be so bad if you were 33 and he was 48. At 18 you are far too young to be involved with a man that age.... He's lived and you haven't. You have dreams and he should already achieving his... Too many differences to over come. yeah he might treat you very well...but you will come to resent him eventualy and angry for having wasted your time.

It all depends, some women tend to like older guys some tend to like younger i prefer someone my age or a couple years off

I honestly think he is too old for you for one conversations are going to be really weird especially when he starts to ask if you seen or heard a favorite song or movie that probably you won't know about because you weren't born yet .

33-18=15.. that means he was 15 when you were born.. in my opinion, yeah thats too old.. Just be his friend and meet people your age.

i say just be friends...if you guys get along so well then your friendship should aways remain there...but if your asking if he's too old you probably know in your heart that he is you just dont want to face it im sure you'll find someone just as great that is more around your age!!

ypur grown so it really dosent matter but i think that he is to old for you. he if probaly thinking about settleing down and you just got out of high school or about to get out and wqant to have fun and yall are on two diffrent stages of life.

If you have to ask you have some doubts already. You both are legal age so enjoy it while you can. It may not last though.
