He is not likely to catch anything, unless the tick was attached for 24 hours..Just put such as hydrogen peroxide, or neosporin on the spot, and it will be fine..If, after 3 days, it begins to appear any more red or swollen, then you can call your vet..
dogs won't get Lyme's disease unless the tick has been attached for a full day, and is hugely swollen..same with 'tick fever'..

your dog will be fine, the redness is just irritation from being bitten in the first place. if your dog develops a red ring around the circumfrence of the bite i would take him to the vet to be tested for lime disease. do not try to remove anymore of the tick from your dog. if you have left the head under his skin, put rubbing alcohol on it and some neosporin, eventually the head will work its way out. by using products like frontline plus or k9 advantix you can avoid this situation entirely

after u remove the tick rub peroxide on the wound then dispose of the tick. Don't worry most likely the bite is red because u removed the tick and it became irritated so i wouldn't worry but if the redness consists then i would recommend a doctors visit for ur furry friend

dont worry he ll be fine. it will be red and will swell over the next few days. leave it be and eventually the swelling will go down. my dog had a tick on his nuts last year (sorry for the use of words) we removed it and he was fine. its only a tick. just make sure you removed it properly and didnt leave the legs. if your really worried have your vet check it tomorrow.

Frontline or income will be extreme priced. If there's a PetsMart through your position, they have a Banfeild Vet interior. they convey yet another form of flea meds referred to as FirstSheild. once you've cats that artwork jointly with the dogs, seek for suggestion from from the vet because the dogs form of firstsheild will kill cats. yet I extremely have stumbled on out the first Sheild works basically as strong if no better effective then income or frontline. And its more competitively priced! strong success

I have 2 dogs and they get tics all the time. What you need to do is get tweezers, locate the tic and squeeze it with the tweezers and it will let go. Thats pretty much it. There is also a tic medication you can probably get from your local veterinarian.

ok - your dog will be fine. don't attempt to pull off anymore of the tick. unless you are a vet, the head will stay on the dog and keep sucking. put a drop of clear fingernail polish on the tick. this will cut off its oxygen supply causing it to die. take your dog to the vet tomorrow. everything will be fine. believe me, i have spent thousand on my dogs at emergency vets over the years and would never hesitate if there was any danger.
good luck!

if you got all the tick out the dog should be fine. if you have neosporin or mycetracin you can put it on the red spot. if the dog continues to scratch or lick, give him a half of benadryl tablet to stop him from itching. take him to vet or call vet tomorrow.
