She does all of the time. She is only human after all. The first time I was hurt because I had made an idol out of her and set standards that were not humanly possible. Once i came to undrstand that she is just a messed up goof up like me who is called to teach and preach and she tries her best but some time that is not perfection i no longer get hurt but step up to help when she seems to be struggling.

Pastors are human and sometimes they will let you down....
You can't expect your pastor to be perfect..
Please do not let this incident stop you from believing in Jesus!
There are other Churches out in the world and other pastors....
But the Holy Word tells us to forgive 7*7....

I used to work part-time as a secretary for a Methodist parish, which meant I had three pastors as "bosses." What really disappointed me was the backstabbing and ego battles between a couple of them. I guess that's when I learned that they are human, like the rest of us. Yet, I couldn't help but feel let down by their behavior, given what they're supposed to be teaching.

My Pastor has never let me down because I have never held him up. He is a man and he is human.

People let you down, we're all human. Yeah it hurts, but you have to move on and forgive them.

Yes, but he is only a man and he isn't perfect either. I do believe he is a man after God's own heart.

Yes, but this was a good lesson for me because I understood that they are people too.
