Why can New York City thrive with hundreds of thousands of immigrants & it's such a problem for border states

What does NYC do that channels, for the good, all of this human potential that the border states haven't done?

NYC was founded by the Dutch (original NYC name was New Amsterdam).

The Dutch have a history and culture of tolerance going back hundreds of years.

In NYC that Dutch attitude still holds sway.

We many not love each-other -- we probably don't even like each-other.

But we know how to live and get along in peace with each-other.

1) New York has been the center of US immigrants for it's entire history especially when Ellis Island came about.

2) Infrastructure & lack of water. The NYC & the NY Metro area has always been built to handle A LOT of people and the border states don't have that kind of infrastructure especially the desert areas like AZ., NM, TX, and NYC has plenty of water while those border states do not.

There Is A RASH Of Mexicano / Central - South American ILLEGAL ALIEN Communities On Long Island

The MAJORITY Of US / Mexico Border ILLEGAL ALIENS
Are A Majority (85 Percent) Mexicano
And MOST Of Them Have Been In The USA Less Than 10 Years
They REFUSE To Acclimate
And Are A BURDEN To The US Taxpayers
And A Drain On The Economy Of The States They Live In

Even CB officials admit that many illegal aliens purposely avoid the census count. A more reliable count is provided by Bear Stern. It puts the number of illegal aliens at around 20 million. Rep. Tom Tancredo (R-CO), Chairman of the Congressional Immigration Reform Caucus, puts the number at over 18 million.

May I ask which part of NY you live in that is thriving? Or Philadelphia or New Orleans or Chicago. If it is thriving, I bet it is less than 50% illegal aliens.

With all due respect we are living in a country that tries too hard to care for those not caring for themselves. In doing so we are breeding 7th generation welfare recipients and are a magnet for those who cannot or will not care for themselves.

I just wish that once, one of you bleeding hearts would figure out what "illegal" means when it comes to aliens, or anything else for that matter. The problem exists with ILLEGAL ALIENS. We have channels and capacities for legal immigrants. What we don't have is the tax capacity to support 40-50% of a population.

Most of the hispanics that come here are uneducated and have skills of a 16 year old..
