Okay toothpaste sounds scary... what if the color stays under the diamond... then it continues to look dirty... I have been told to use liquid soap with a toothbrush and rinse with warm water..... THat is what my jewler has suggested and it seems to work great. Good Luck and be careful with the toothpast, its made for teeth!

Take a little bit of toothpaste and gently brush it with a toothbrush. Rinse and dry. You could also use any effervescent denture cleaner, you know the kind that bubble, like Efferdent. Just follow the directions on the box, place your ring in, let it soak, rinse and dry! Both work GREAT!!

a little secret a jeweller passed on to me.
i wanted to get my rings cleaned by him but couldn't get the darn things off as my fingers had swollen - he whipped out a bottle of windex, sprayed it on my finger and not only did the ring slide right off my finger - it was sparkly clean!
so windex works!
