are you also good at pointing out your own faults?

A famous religious man once said, "Before you take out the splinter in someone's eyes, first take out the one in yours." Do you agree?

Yea, I do agree, with your question. I do that sometimes. Who does not have their own faults? No one is perfect. Yet, we do have to find our own splinter first if we can find it first, before we can take out the splinter in someone's else eyes. Sometimes that is the only way to find our faults is to pluck out someone else faults first, which is the hard way.

I agree with Jesus' words 100%! It is true that there are many who call themselves Christians and point out others' faults. It is wrong. Even Jesus tells us not to be in judgement of others nor treat anyone with unkindness or criticism. When Jesus came to someone who was "unacceptable" by people, He loved them unconditionally and treated them with the utmost respect. We are supposed to do the same. It is wrong of us to criticize, put down or judge another. None of us are perfect and we are here to spread God's love in a peaceful, loving way with a sincere heart. By the way, I have many faults and God doesn't give up on me or criticize me, He lifts me up, teaches me and accepts me the way I am. This is what we are to do for others. God bless, my friend.

Yes, absolutely. The closer one gets to this very famous man the more aware they are of their own shortcomings too.

Yes , any Christian would agree with that. That's why God gave us Jesus and we ask for his forgiveness everyday, we do realize we are sinners. We are trying to help those who are sinners but refuse to believe what they are doing is wrong so they think there is no need to ask for forgiveness.

I agree that we should worry about our own sins before we judge others....
I believe that the only one qualified to judge others is one that is appointed to judge...
When Jesus comes back to this earth to take over, he will appoint Judges to judge the people..

OOO Do I get to tell you my faults?
Uhm - I am somewhat tempermental, I am incredibly impatient with traffic, and have been known to get road rage.
When I really think I'm right, I refuse to bend.
I wear heals to make my butt look higher...
Oh I got so many more.

Jesus said that in the Bible. I have lots of faults, but God sees I'm striving to do His will.
