It all depends on which semi-dye you use and the porosity of those highlights......
If your hair is very dry it could tend to suck in more and be darker than expected.........
Make sure that this is what you want because sometimes certain semi colors tend to stick in the hair and will not "lift" out of the hair correctly if you choose to highlite again. If this happens you will have an off shade of highlites!!!!
In any situation please take the advice of " licensed practicing professionals" ----- not someone who just claims to have gone to "school" for it

its not really the best idea to put semi color all over hair. semi-permanent hair color is mosty used for streeks. but if you are just testing out the color to see if you like it or not go for it. but be sure that you dye it the permanent color you want, cause if u let the semi color say in for a wlie it will fade out and most likey it will turn a really ugly color.

if your hair was bleached blonded the color may not take or if it does it will be light and it will fade out fast. bleach takes out all of the pigament in your hair strands so theres nothing for the new color to cling on too so if you want to keep the brown color...get a redish color thats in a tube and just put whats in the tupe in your hair dont add anything.... after the color takes in your hair(it wont be RED but it will be darker that your blonde) wash it out and then color it the brown you want. that will make the color take and stay longer...its NOT gonna turn green!!

It will be fine. The highlights will just be a lighter brown than the rest.

Mum is a hair dresser and yes you can but highly recommend not to do it because it is bad for you permanent stuff and will fade it out badly. I was going to do that but got told it is a very bad idea! do not do it. trust my mum.

its going to look good at first, when you wash it, the blond streaks will look lighter, but i wouldnt say it would look bad, just not perfect brown..
