Try using hair pins. You can do lots of different things...divide the top half of your hair into 2 pieces, twist it together twice, and then pin it into place. Just a little twist to a simple style. Also if you just want to do a pony tail, just braid a small piece of hair on one side of your hair and pull it into the pony tail with the rest of your hair. Jazzes it up a bit.

you could like sruch it with strong holding mousse while its damp. sraight hair when its short dosnt look as goos as when its longer. beachy waves look really cute on shorter lengths

YOu can do half up and down, you can do up dos and you can do pony tails and braids.
