I live in Florida so it's not really too cold yet.
But if I'm inside, at the stores, at school at church..wherever..sometimes I just randomly get cold.
Why??

I'm extra sensitive to temperature. I live In Michigan (up by lake superior) and I'm cold in the middle of August when it's 85 outside. I went to Texas in July and I was more comfortable outdoors in the heat than indoors with the rest of my family sitting in the central cooling.

I think it just varies from every individual. It's like pain. Some people have a really higher threshold for pain. Like those guys who lift cinder blocks with their nipple piercings. I believe mind over matter is a pretty powerful thing.

You don't go through your day thinking "Hey, something's touching me." unless you do bump into something or some taps you on the shoulder. But chances are you're wearing clothes most of the day and they're touching you. Sure, you might through on a comfotable sweater and think "Man, this sweater is comfortable." but after a few minutes of wearing it you don't really notice it because you're thinking about other things.

Or you're talking to some one in public. You're focused on the conversation and the back ground noise doesn't register to your senses unless something absurdly loud happens like the sirens of a fire truck or gun shots.

Essentially what I'm taking a long time to say is: when you feel cold try not to think about it. Since you're uncomfortable being cold chances are that the coldness makes it hard to concentrate on whatever you're doing. Just try concentrating extra hard on the task at hand and eventually you'll forget that you're cold.

If this doesn't work then do what I always do (I'm not all that good at the mind over matter thing): wear a long sleeve thermal t-shirt, a regular t-shirt, and a hoodie. If you're going outside throw a jacket on over that.

i will take two shots at it: one is that you are too skinny and that you get cold easier or the second shot is that you are tired a lot. if you are skinny and do not have a lot of body fat on you to keep you warm that could be the problem. if you do not get enough sleep and are in college or HS that could be another version. that and maybe because you do not work out enough or get enough blood flowing or have poor circulation!

Maybe you have naturally low body temperature like I do. It's healthier to have it but it is a pain, especially for me. I live in New England.

Perhaps you are too skinny? When I lose too much weight I'm always cold.
