I have 4 children, the youngest is seven months old. I am having a miscarriage with my fifth child. I do not ever want to be pregnant again. My question is....How long after a miscarriage can you have your tubes tied?

Probably the same as after a pregnancy--about 4-6 weeks.
DON'T have sex until you do it!!!
I had mine after my 3rd child in 1983....when I was 22. I had to fight to get it, but I KNEW that was enough of babies!
Good luck & bless you, hon......

I am not sure on a miscarriage (sorry to hear that) but I had mine done the day after I delivered. They just left the epidural block in and I had the surgery and everything has been fine since.

I had my tubes tied right after my last child was born. I am not sure, whether the procedure is different after a miscarriage.
I am truly sorry for your loss. God Bless, You and Yours.

You can have it done the next day. Lots of women have it done immediately after a birth. Good Luck.

I had mine done within minutes of my 4th c-section. Have you called your doctor's office? The nurse can usually answer your questions if the doctor isn't immediately availabe.

I would imagine you could have it done immediately, being as there isn't any connection between the two. Good luck!
