It means he is likely soon to thow up! get him off your chair, or you will have a mess to clean..He either ate something that upset him, or he may need de-wormed..

Hmm, I think I'd probably move away from the dog just in case, any second now, a bunch of chewed up grass & saliva is going to flying onto my lap.

If it doesn't, he doesn't throw up I mean, it could be because you secrete anti-vomiting hormones & by licking you he has staved off his nausea.

Or else he's licking you to reassure you that he is feeling better now & won't throw up all over you, honest.

Hmm, it seems, that like me, you might just not have too much else to do at the moment!

From your definition of your dog ,it sounds like he is very nauseated.Check to see if he has been eating anything he isn't suppose to have been eating,Plants, etc ,as some house plants are poisen for dogs and will make them very sick.If he keeps doing this, give him some non-flavored baby pediolyte or a dose of pepto Bismol,1 teaspoon per 5 lbs. every 6 hours,to settle his stomach.Hope he is up to date on all vaccinations/deworming,and if not ,would suggest you see your vet and obtain such for your pet.

Offer him a biscuit. If he scoffs it theres nothing wrong with him! If he refuses it, monitor him until your instinct says it's time for the vet!!!

I don't know why I got a thumbs down - the quickest way to tell if your pet is sick is to offer them food. If they really don't feel well they will refuse it. If your dog takes some food then you can stop worrying so much!!!

Well, it sure sounds like he is going to throw up. Get him away from the computer or it will be fried.

I wouldn't worry too much. Dog's vomit or gag for a variety of reasons. If it doesn't continue then don't worry.
