The scripture is:
Romans 8:28: And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
It's not to them that only believe for:
James 2:19: Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble.
Matthew 7:21": Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
We all make choices, some good, some bad. Don't look back, shoot for the mark.

Remember the scripture that you are quoting:
Even if you made a bad "under pressure" decision, God can use that according to his purpose. Yes things can be life changing. But God remains the same. He wasn't surprised about the decision that you made, and will use it for His glory and you will be alright. If not better.
Rom 8:28-29
28 And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. 2
NIV
and p.s. you are a bride of christ. you are married. to Jesus. He can talk to you without a husband like that guy a couple of answers up says. You don't have to have a mediator, you have Jesus praying for you.

I believe the bible is the inspired word of God. Therefore if His word says "all things work together for good for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose", yes I believe that. Not only because the bible says so, but because in my many years of following Jesus Christ (and the Word), I have found every single thing in His word to be true. If your heart and mind is set on the Most High, there is nothing that will ever happen to you that He will not use for His highest purpose...and the bible says His purpose is to make us into the image of His son.

since therefore christ suffered in the flesh," arm yourselves also with the same intention(for whoever has suffered in the flesh has finished with sin)
2. so as to live for the rest of your earthly life," no longer by human desires but by the will of God

I've never thought about that, but you're right. All things to happen for the good for those who believe in God. All will be all right in the end.

God is always in control. I think that it would make his job easier, though, if you were to get married. That way your husband could mkae those decisions. The Lord has direct communication with men that he can't have with women because women are irrational. If you were married, you would never have to make a decision, which would keep you pure and innocent- just as women should be.
May the Lord keep you.

I believe that we are where God wants us to be. although things are hard for us sometimes. and when things are tough I offer it up to God for what He did and is still doing for us.

It really doesn't matter much as he is there when we need him, I don't think there is any great difference when it comes to the big picture
