cocky guys or confident guys?

ive been told by women im too cocky about my looks, but some women like my confidence....ladies, help me out here

The trick is to identify when you're being confident, and when you're just overdoing it. If the ladies seem bothered by your over-confidence, back off a little. Girls don't want to hear how great YOU are, they want to hear how great THEY are, but again, don't overdo it. Care about how you look because you want them to notice and like you, and don't care about how you look because you think you're amazing or something.

So to be clear and concise: Be confident but don't overdo it. We like talking about ourselves, not your appearance. Care about how you look, but don't care to the point of narcissism.

First and foremost, I hope you realize that there is a HUGE difference between the two. With confidence, its about being comfortable with who you are, regardless of the circumstances. People who use things such as money, looks, and muscles as a crutch, are ALWAYS, and I mean ALWAYS lacking real confidence. In addition, people who are so fixated on such crutches, really suffer in terms of integrity. I have learned A LOT about people and it never fails that people who are revered as cocky, are ALWAYS the least confident, trust me. Ask any psycologists, and observe the cocky ones. There behavior is a defense mechanism. They are so uncomfortable with just being themselves, they have to self promote, and raise themselves one rung above everybody, in fear that people will figure them out. There insecurity is so obvious. These "cocky" are the same ones who never look you in the eye while speaking, cant do anything by themselves, and when they have girlfriends, always question where and whom they are with, clear signs of insecurity and no confidence. Over the years, the people who I wnew that were known as being SO cocky were the MOST insecure. YEs, some people fall for their act, but when they are truly brought to the test that would exude real confidence, they always failed, always. Trust me on this. I have learned a lot about human nature, and use it to my advantage. I certainly don’t profess to be perfect, I am always looking to learn and grow as a person. When cocky people are trying to tell you how great they are at this and that, what they truly are saying is how insecure they feel.

Yes you are cocky! I know guys just like you and you think you're all that just because you have a pretty face! Take a look at your photo real quick and tell me, doesn't it look as though you were modeling or something?? And it's not your confidence women like, it's your body.

I like guys that are confident not cocky they get to carry away with their looks. they sort of act like females and that not cute.

effective yet humble. There're a pair of guys in my grade that are so cocky i can't stand it! i think of it relatively is o.k. to be a tiny bit cocky each now and lower back, yet once you're so cocky which you're "too sturdy" to communicate to others it relatively is in basic terms undeniable demanding.

i used to be a nice guy and i got no attention from girls, then I turned cocky and more assertive and now I can't keep them off of me but my looks have stayed the same. Girls won't admit it but they are drawn to @ssholes
