But the thing is she's the girl i just broke up with's best friend. Neither of us hang out with her very much though. I like her a lot and i just found out tht she likes me "kinda". What is that suppose to mean?

If you have to ask a question like this I wonder what you've done that she likes. Apparently all you have to do is ask her out...doesn't seem like she has any high expectations.

Well, if you have enough courage... approach her directly and ask her out. Girl's hate it if its over the phone, through a friend, or a note- etc. Now if your afraid what her friends would say... wait until she's alone. If she's never alone then, I guess call her. Dont have her number, then the next thing would be a note. But you don't know who will see that beside her. If you like her, ask her out BEFORE someone else does. I hate that >.>

She only likes you 'kinda'...as in as just a friend. She will say 'no' if you ask her out. Though she may 'be nice' and go out with you for a bit, say a week or two, then tell you she does not 'really' like you in that way.
So don't bother asking her out at all.

If your ex. is her best friend, why don't they hang out very much?... Oh & you could ruin this girl, & your ex's friendship! That would be "kinda" selfish! So if I were you, I would leave her alone!

OUNCH! wait awhile until her freinds cool. If shes a good friend she might tell you she has to check with her friend. Kinda means shes scared her friend will get mad..lol, just wait awhile.

i would say go up to her and just plainly ask her to go out with her
if she bails walk off with your head high and her gone otherwise use your best judgement on the further matters.....BE CAUTIOUS she just isn't on the "bounceback " syndrome and you are lined up as a soft spot to land
