then why hasn't He intervened?
If He hears our daily prayers, even our supplications with tears and outcries (which happen frequently)..why hasn't he answered or even made a way out?
And don't tell me to talk with the elders, the first thing that came out of their mouths when I came to this hall is "how could you be a pioneer and then be inactive for 2 months" not even caring that I was in the hospital....when I go to the meetings, i either get ignored or have someone make a smart comment to me...
I want to serve Jehovah, but it seems like he doesn't want me...I want to get my life in order but why doesn't he want me to serve him?

TO MY FELLOW JW'S - IGNORE BILL BELOW...
this email account is one my mother established for her children many many years ago, when we were all together serving Jehovah...now, i'm the only sibling serving Jehovah faithfully...we still use this account and whatever my siblings post have nothing to do with me....if you read the posts, the ages go from 17 -33, which are the age range we all fall in...even my uncle whose 50 has posted a question...anyone who really cares can read the questions and tell with a discerning mind which questions are MINE and which are my 2 siblings...how could i be grieving over the death of a fiance while sleeping with 2 men that i am not married to and breaking up with someone at the same time?
either i'd have to have multiple personalities or be waay too busy

I don't know if you have ever heard this or not, but I am going to post one of my favorite points of encouragement.
MALACHI 3:3 says: "He will sit as a refiner and purifier of silver..."
This verse puzzled some during a book study, and they wondered what this
statement meant about the character and nature of Jehovah. One sister
offered to find out about the process of refining silver and get back to
the group at the next book study.
That week, the sister called a silversmith and made an appointment to
watch him at work. She didn't mention anything about the reason for her
interest, beyond her curiosity about the process of refining silver.
As she watched the silversmith, he held a piece of silver over the fire
and let it heat up. He explained that in refining silver, one needed to
hold the silver in the middle of the fire where the flames were hottest so
as to burn away all of the impurities.
The sister thought about Jehovah holding us in such a 'hot spot', and then
she thought again about the verse that says 'He sits as a refiner and
purifier of silver'.
She asked the silversmith if it was true that he had to sit there in front
of the fire the whole time the silver was being refined. He answered yes,
he not only had to sit there holding the silver, but he had to keep his
eyes on the silver the entire time it was in the fire. If the silver was
left a moment too long in the flames, it would be destroyed.
The sister was silent for a moment, then she asked the silversmith, How do
you know when the silver is fully refined?"
He smiled and said "Oh, that's easy - when I see my image in it."
If, today, you are feeling the 'heat of the fire' of Satan's
persecution...remember that Jehovah has his eye constantly on you, and
will keep watching you until He sees His image in you.
Right now, this very moment, some dear brother or sister needs to know
that Jehovah himself is watching over them. And, whatever they're going
through, He will be vindicated, if they remain faithful.
Keep your chin up. Jehovah does want you.

i do not see that dresses. I see a astounding, proficient, humorous guy. i appreciate ya in basic terms the way you're, ((((((((((Jack)))))))))). No faith, no ailment can replace that. And, to be straightforward, i do not provide a rat's asss what any faith has to assert about HIV - or homosexuality. So, i visit't quite say how that is been influenced by technique of it. easy, faith maintains to be customary in an afternoon and age even as humanity must be previous such archaic wondering because human beings like to have an excuse to guage others - a minimum of, this applies to the Abrahamic religions. And, I say "screw 'em".

Just checked her ???, these are not ??? that a full time pioneer would ask, maybe the reason Jehovah is not answering your prayers, is because of your relationship with the other person. Clean up your life, and then Jehovah will probably answer your prayer.
These are some of her ???
There's a guy who says that he really cares a lot about me...but I am in a relationship right now?
My boyfriend says he loves me, and takes GREAT care of me emotionally, but he does look at other women and has cheated 2x during our relationship...but I LOVE LOVE him to death.
On the other hand, I just met this guy, who is OK, nothing is going on, but he is a true sweetheart, not the kind to cheat, and keeps telling me that he cares A LOT for me and that he wants to build a future, and all the other things I never heard from my boyfriend...the only drawback is that I just met him AND he is not as successfull as the BF.
What would you do, ladies?
"another ??? she has asked"
I am leaving my noncommittal cheating boyfriend for someone who truly loves me...how should i break up w/ him?

At age 16, I married. I had been reared to believe the bible as the word of God. I had had strict teachings from the sweetest most precious grandmother, and my most wonderful dad.
My husband was so horrible, so impossible, that this surely must be how Satan is.
Jesus faced Satan 40 days and 40 nights. Matt.4:1-11; I faced my perscuter 21 years
and relived it over and over and over for years to come, after it was behind me, it was still right in front of me.
I have never questioned any thing pertaining to God and Christ. The good and the bad reside together.
I have had so much of the bad.
I have been able to be single and alone and study the word of God.
I love being alone, I love being single and I love the plans God has for us to have a good life as this one is short and full of trouble, the next is long and full of peace.
I find it hard to believe the peace and the pleasure and the thanks and the praise I give not to be around people like 2Tim.3:1-7; Matt.10:34-38;
Those that shun me or those that I shun, and those that accuse you of being as they are and make so much trouble in every direction.

God loves you, and values your service. God doesn't expect perfection, but God does expect you to keep trying to love God with all your heart and soul and strength and mind; and your neighbor as yourself. Sometimes you can't see the hand of God until you've made it through your current struggle -- when you look back, you will see that God sent you the answers a little at a time. Check out a book (any book) written by C.S. Lewis. He is very inspirational, and will speak to the way you feel right now.

Do not lose your faith stop praying long enough for you to listen He wants you to serve him the path we chose when we chose to follow him is like the salmon who swim up stream it like trying to swim up a water fall this can be done the salmon fish does it and we will be greatly rewarded at the end of this path it is not a easy path but God does want you to serve him he loves you Jehovah is our Father he has a special purpose for your life listen and go they way he wants you to and not by your way.
God Bless you always.

Sister, don't let circumstances stop you from living for God, You seem to think that God is not wanting you, sister, that is a lie from satan, God does hear prayers, & sister don't worry what people say to you or do to you, Jesus was done the same way, God's grace is suffitcent for you. Yes God wants you to serve him, & when you think that God does not, then that is a trick of satan. Remember sister Faith is the substance for things hope for & the evidence of things not seen, Every Christian goes through a time that it seems like God is nowhere to be find, In my 36 yrs. of serving God, I have been in that same spot myself, We sometimes don't think God is with us, he is always with us, But if we never had a valley to walk in how will we know that he is more than able to bring us through that valley, When you look back on your walk with God & you saw 2 sets of footpints in the sand, that is when God walked with us, & then trials come, & we look back at those footsteps & we see only ONE set of footprints, We seem to ask God why are you not with me, & then God will whisper to your soul, That single set of foot prints is when I carried you through your trials. Sister God is with you even though it may seem far off sometimes, Then that is where we can not go by feelings but by Faith.

Hold on conceited person who claims to love Jehovah. He is not a vending machine where you deposit your coins (prayer) and then you get a treat of your choice (mostly sin). Maybe things are not going your way because he knows that you don't really love him, you just want your way. Maybe he has answered but you are so hung up on your needs that you can not even see or hear the answer. Go back and ask for his forgiveness and try to live best by his will and forget your needs for now. Praise and worship him and pray for his blessing and not your own. Then watch your life change..God bless you!

the devil wants you to feel this way and turn your back on Jehovah. remember we are in the last days and time is getting shorter. I lost my husband of 35 years (he was also a brother) two years ago. I get down also. but I still go to meetings and talk to Jehovah all the time. I also remember the story of Job and what he went threw. the person above me said the same thing. that is what keeps me going. don't let the devil win. I cry everyday to Jehovah to keep me going. my younger son 25 has a mild c.p and my daughter 28 is mentally handicapped. I keep going for them and most of all Jehovah. he does care for all of us. we are all fighting the fine fight. lets win the fight for Jehovah all together and be able to call the devil a liar. I just read what our dear brother Bill said. that is why you are having second thoughts. you are losing Jehovah God and that is your fault

The way out is often thru the trials and pain. The way has been made but it is long and difficult.
Now then the group you are interacting with sound like they have a bunch of human made rules and rituals. Do not blam God for what man has made.
God wants you but God wants you unconditionally. As long as you have/set conditions on what life with God is to be like the conditions you set will be a brick wall between you and God.
