That's a very good question!

When you are cold, the small blood vessels "retreat" from the skin's surface in an effort to save body heat. Your skin will appear pale (ie, your face won't have the healthy look it does like in the summer).

Being a 36 year old lady and having long given up my dream of getting a fairer skin tone. Aside from my age, I am of African-American lineage and have dark spots on my eyebrows and cheeks. They were the cause of years of embarrassment because people constantly looked and stared at them! I have tried make-ups to cover them up but they hardly worked.

When I came across this product and read the testimonials, I immediately made my purchase and tried your different approach. A few days later, I am seeing that my skin is already getting whiter which brought a new level of confidence in my personality..

i'm not sure.. but i don't think so.

i'm in marching band, and we have practices outside in the sun even when it's cold. i still get tanlines and stuff. only less of me is tan since i wear more clothes to stay warm. people get tan when their skin gets melanin from being exposed to sunlight (or that fake tanning light stuff, i guess.)

from what i've noticed, the only reason people turn paler in winter is because they cover their skin more since it's cold outside. tans fade away if you don't continue to expose your skin to the sun. i don't believe the cold itself has anything to do with skintone.

yes it does because there is no sunlight to keep the particles in your skin darker
