Well...yes you should be concerned about calories, but it depends on what your body needs. Some people need 2,500 or 2,000 calories per day. If your a teanager you should be consuming a minimum amount of 1600 calories.

You also should be concerned about fat and carbs to. If you want to maintain a healthy weight and a healthy body you should buy food with 5 grams of fat or less. Too much grams of fat will only make you gain weight. Make sure that you also watch the sugar that is in different foods.

Don't eat too much carbs because you will end up gaining weight. Make sure you eat a minumum amount of carbs because it will also result in helping you. If you consume a minumum amount of carbs and you excersise then you can burn it also!
