I would not say suffer but love is a addiction, a addiction which can make you very very sick. It is unknown how and why love can make you so weak, blind, etc., but when it is good you feel so strongly about life. Once that great love has gone sour, it is difficult to get out bed, eat, communicate with love ones etc. So it goes both ways with both men and women

if it's true love the women shouldn't suffer......but if it's heartbreak and pain, then the relationship is not for her
