what are some cats that you think were important in history?

um i am kinda talking about one cat in particular and not some cartoon thing on a box or bag. i'm talking a bout a pet cat.

I have had many cats throughout the years and personally think that your average "non-pedigreed" house cat is the best; I have 8 cats now and they range from Tuxedo (black with white on chest), to Orange Tabby that looks like Morris the Cat and his "twin" who's a large white Tabby, to a cat that looks like the pink panther, but only cream colored....Cleopatra was know to love cats, as were most Egyptians....Also, cats were very big in England during the 1800's, used to clean up the rat/mouse population; Mousers are cats usually used on farms to clean up the rodents (by the way, a cat isn't born as a "mouser", they have to be taught by their "mother".)

Manx cats are great, they are born without tails. I have a couple :)
