A friend and I both took a bunch of online tests and each of us had consistent scores. And our scores were different than each other so it worked for us.
I'd be curious to take one professionally but it costs major dollars.
The testing for my child cost $800! That was the WISC-IV.

There are loads of different versions of the IQ test. Accurate...well, yes, although you'll score differently on the different tests because the score differently. All of them test general intelligence. Component tests are generally designed and selected because they are found to be predictive of later intellectual development, such as educational achievement. IQ also correlates with job performance, socioeconomic advancement, and "social pathologies". Recent work has demonstrated links between IQ and health, longevity, and functional literacy.
IQ tests are relative, not absolute and do not test other intelligence aspects such as creativity.
So if you were to ever compare IQ tests with someone, you have to be sure that they took the same test as you did.
Wikipedia gives you the different tests and how they vary, what the test etc.

Not really.
If you want to get a good, pretty accurate IQ test, go to a doctor and ask for one.

There is one very accurate IQ test.
It measures the number of days you stay above the ground.
I am still curious to see exactly how I will fail.

Some of them might be. I've taken two and the results were about the same as one that was done when I was in high school.
