Change the pan and DO NOT scrape out the bottom. My graqndmother always used a potato to remove salt and an apple to remove a burnt taste.

First remove the soup to a clean pan and leave the burnt behind in the old pan. Then lay a potato sliced thickly across the top bring to a simmer and the potato should remove the taste -disgard potatoes before they cook all the way. You could also use dry bread - let it sit ontop and discard when saturated or I 've heard 1tablespoon white vinegar is a good balancer too. Sorry don't know if these work but good luck!

Well actually you can't. If your homemade soup always tastes burnt I suggest you try something like cooking it on a low heat and stir it constantly.

Throw it away and start over. Burnt taste is not able to be removed.

You cant really take the burnt taste out. Try using a slow cooker or a crock pot to cook your soups and stews.

try to add some more stock and water, or try to add some white wine. but most of the time you have to start again from the beginning and pay attention.
