You will have a job to find a device for this as C and AA cells are the same length Just wrap tape cardboard or something round them to increase the diameter.
D cells need an adaptor if you want to use AA cells as D cells are longer.
Quite why you would do this beats me unles you have a heap of AA batteries and something which takes Cs

Try NiMh rechargables.

While these batteries are the same length, they are very different in the amount of power they can deliver. The AA batteries will not last nearly as long, nor deliver the power that the C type batteris can deliver. For this reason, it is best to pay extra for the C type and avail of the extra they have to offer, rather than try and use the smaller AA type and have to use a lot more of them for to get the same service

well i heard of a device that lets you use AAA batteries in place of AA batteries... but never AA for C.
And that came with a camera my cousin bought
They looked like some kind of hollow battery, that you could slip a AAA in. With two metal buds at the end.

Just get C batteries...
It's not worth the trouble

why dont you buy some C batteries, alot easy and less time consuming
