Wait 4 years and watch that it does not matter. Now it does because you will change and do things while he's away and he will change from what he was when he left, if he is deployed. Hold on, take it easy. Put your energy in something you've always wanted to do, like playing an instrument or song writing.
Age matters, not because of the age difference, just the age in general, this time. I'm not sorry to say, you have a lot you can do, when he returns you can see him and see if the feeling still there...

At 15 you should be out having a good time. If your bf is away in the army it will be hard to be just a teen. You need to date lots of people and go out and have a good time. After you are done school, then is the time to have a serious relationship. You are in the prime time when you should be having lots of experiences, so that when you are at the right time in your life for commitment. you will have had a teenage hood and you will know if he is right for a long commitment. You are too young to be settling into waiting at home every night. It is not fair to you.. now is the time to kick up your heels. Be his friend and write, but don;t sit at home, you will get lonely, angry, and you will resent it. Take care of it now and go and have fun...you are too young for him....and he is too old for you.....

Well, biologically, it is probably "normal", but legally it is wrong. If you were four years' different in age when you were in your twenties or thirties, no big deal, but in teenage years, it really is a vast difference.

Loretta Lynn was 15 when she married and he was out of the army. This idea of making teens wait until they are 18 is pretty new in the history of mankind.

oh hell no that is not good i think that you should only have atwo year diffrence 3 tops but i strictly stick with 2 i think your biyfriends a purvert do your parents know about him i dont think thats healthy i could see if yall waws both grown and you decide to get together and dont worry about the age diffrence but your still in high school. or i could see if you were a senior in high school and your boyfriend is a freshman in cololege thats cool but what your doing is illgeal and if yall have sex even if you want to he could go to jail and i think if hes in the army he already know aot of the rules and by him being in the army he should follow them.

Age does matter when you are underage and he is over. He could get into trouble. What do your parents think? It wouldn't be as big a deal if you were 18 and he was 27, ya know. Once you are out of hs it isn't as crazy.

at your age, yes. no offense to you, but there is something wrong with a 19 year old that can't find someone their own age. not only that, but anything intimate that you two do, is illegal and can get him kicked out of the army.

i wouldn't say it ws super wrong, but i guess cos ur under the age of having sex, not sure about the laws in usa, it might bother some ppl, like ur family etc. but when i was 16 my bf was 23 so u ain't that bad, lol

Sorry but I don't think that it will last as this is so big a difference and he would be so much more mature than a girl of your age, especially being in the service. Sorry to have to be so brutally honest but that is my opinion.

age don't matter but its not really okay when you are young since people around the age of 16-23 like to take advantage of younger people because young people like to go out with older guys who are cool and awesome and they think you will do anything for them.
