Where to put it?...?

Question

I want to get a tat soon...I know what i want but im debating on where i should get it... I was thinking back/left shoulderblade... The whole lower back thing is so overrated... The only problem is that i dont want it to look overly aggressive... Some where tasteful but sexy... I was also thinking hip bone or some where below my bellybutton but the problem with that is if you decide to have a baby or gain wait it will stretch and look horrible... So im open to suggestions... Got any?

To give you more of an idea i want to get a phoenix... Out of everything that i have thought of this really hits the spot on the struggles that i have gone through...Hard struggles... I dont want it too big...just big enough to see some details but small enough so it looks cute...

I have one on the top of my right foot. I love it because if you want to keep it covered, you just need to wear a strappy shoe.

Well, it kinda depends on the tattoo you're getting. The shape of the tattoo has to go with the shape of the part of the body you want to put it on. Size matters, too. It would help if we knew what you were getting......here are some placement tips:
If you're getting a smallish tattoo, say a butterfly, or a flower, you could put that on either shoulder blade or in the middle of your back by your neck (describing this spot is hard...). If you were getting a somewhat medium sized or semi medium large tattoo, you could put it on your side where your ribs are, on your middle back (if it's large), or on your thigh, or on your leg below your knee. If you are getting a large tattoo, you could always go for your side over your ribs; you could get a full back piece. Other areas for smaller tattoos are your upper arm, below the elbow (a half sleeve below the elbow), and other areas, such as the ankle, on the leg. Just think about how your tattoo will work with the parts of the body you are thinking of.

Well, where I'm from (generationally and culturally), tattoos are still a big no-no. And since it's permanent, I would recommend somewhere that it cannot be seen. If you get it on your back left shoulderblade, it could always be covered with a dress strap, if you went to something formal, so it seems like a good place to me. I would recommend something small, so it won't stretch too much no matter where it is! Good luck.

I personally think that you should put it whereever you want to put it. I mean it is your body and you are putting something permanent on it, therefore shouldn't it be where you want it to be for the rest of your life.

I have two tattoo's, on as an armband and the other in the middle of my upper back, underneath the neckline. I knew I wanted them there, and have been told by many people that they are in the wrong places, but you know what, it is my body and my decision.

Do what you want to do and put them where ever you like. But most of all, enjoy your new tattoo.

I would put it a little above the sholder blade because if it's on the bone it will hurt a lot.

how about on your ankle, or thigh just under a short skirt's line so you can just see it a little. think the boys would go nuts because they'll wanna know why its there and to see it up close.

On your shoulder is cute, i have a medium size butterfly on mine and it looks cute.
