human beings could ask questions approximately church homes they actually understand no longer adequate approximately particularly than make uninformed statements approximately. listed right here are the titles of a Catholic Priest, first there's a Deacon who's in basic terms below the point of a priest or maximum suitable understood as a assistant ,then Pastor (Priest)with the aid of fact the Pastor of a Catholic Church is the only in cost. Then there would properly be a Monsignor who's a priest who has many times been given the call of Monsignor for his existence long provider to the Church via the Pope. Then there are Bishops,Archbishops then Cardinals that are Bishops yet now are greater desirable to Princes of the Church.the reason for the call Priest is he can grant the sacrifice of the Mass as Priest by using out all differing religions carry out the comparable pastime the guy who seems over and supply sacrifice. i'm hoping this allows you to have a greater physically powerful understanding. God Bless..

Dear MixedGuy,
The requirements for a pastor are clearly outlined in 1 Timothy 3, however, the church age ended in 1988. You see, we are now in the final tribulation spoken of in Matthew 24. The Great Tribulation precedes the second coming of the Lord Jesus Christ. The fact of the matter, is that satan is now reigning in ALL the local congregations regardless of denomination (2 Thessalonians 2). The sad thing is that absolutely NO ONE can be saved in a church at this time. That is why you are seeing the immorality, murder, witchcraft, adultery, etc in what is called "the House of God". As the Lord Jesus Christ saved Abraham, Isaac, Jacob etc before the "church" so He is doing now. The same vehicle is being used as stated in Romans 10:17, "So then, faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the word of God." If the Lord has chosen you to become saved it will happen in the environment of hearing the word of God. If you are not saved, I would recommend that you begin reading the Bible. Read slowly and prayerfully. If you have children, let them listen to you reading the word of God. Babies and children are sinners and need the Lord Jesus also (Psalms 58:1-5).

No, because Christians can be found guilty of many sins. And that test does not sound accurate to me, men can become erect quite easily, just because they become erect while looking at pictures of naked men does not mean they are gay. If they become erect while looking at pictures of naked women who are not their wives does that mean that they are going to have an affair? Churches just need to have faith that God will bring them the pastor their church needs.

And that test would be exactly what? I'm gay, out of the closet for 30 years, and my gaydar is only accurate about 60% of the time, or slightly better than chance. Do you want to subject each minister to a plethismograph to test whether his member engorges when he sees gay sex pictures? How would you check out the women?
Wouldn't it make more sense to allow gay people to be open without risking the loss of their vocation to be ministers?

Each church needs to be 100% sure of its pastor. Any church that is not 100% sure of its pastor is setting itself up for a fall by the devil.

It's like the person who never goes to the doctor because they don't want to find out that they might have cancer. They never would do it (except maybe some very fundamentalist churches out there).
It shouldn't matter whether they are gay or not. But that's the church for you.

No! What difference does it make if the pastor likes men or women. And don't give me the old prejudice about how all gays are rapists. That is definitely not true.

Yeah, go for it. Have fun trying to find a leader who's not a complete hypocrite - it seems to me that the people who protest the most against homosexuality are usually trying to deny something about themselves. When you can't find anyone who hates homosexuals and isn't one themselves, will you just give it up?

Would you also test for every other "sin" listed in the Bible?
