There is only One Church of which Jesus The Christ is The Head. And it has no earthly building... The Church is The Body of beleivers who make up The Church. Where two or more of The Body are that is where The Church is.

When this was written in the bible - the writer was expressing his thoughts in a way the people of that time would understand.
A high priest was closest to GOD, in terms humans could understand.
Jesus being many concepts is a leader, a priest, a shepherd, a problem solver, a guru, a lot of different concepts - each true to the time period people are writing in.
So, basically - Yes - he IS. (Since Jesus is alive - He still preforms these duties.)
Oh, wait - I don't know ALL his churches. I responded because I'm Roman Catholic, and it was in todays reading, that HE IS.
ALL his churches? - I have no idea.

Jesus doesn't have "churches". Jesus Christ founded ONE Church upon the Apostles, with ONE set of beliefs, the fullness of Christian truth. Manmade churches do not have a "high priest". They don't even have priests!

Jesus is my mediator, priest, Lord and Savior.

Most churches do not follow his teachings.

Grace unto you, and peace,
from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

mind not "high" things: Romans 12:16
be not "high-minded": Romans 11:20; 1Timothy 6:17
for "high-minded" listed among "un-holy": 2Timothy 3

Jesus: new "high" priest standing right of God on "high"
Christ: risen and seated "far above all the heavens"

God in "heaven": "higher than the heavens": "that God"
God on "high", in the plural law law "heavens": this God
It's a "fall" to fall for and into the "hands" of God on high

To wit: "that God" was in "Christ" reconciling the world.

The GRACE of our Lord Jesus Christ WITH YOU ALL. AMEN.

for pegan rebirth you might be right in alot of instances but not in all. I believe that many church are misled and mislead people. But all religion is bs anyways. Religion is about making yourself feel good about yourself. A true relationship with God is to be desired. Its not about a show but about whats in your heart
