yet he claims I'm all the woman he wants, yet everytime he drinks, he says and comments on the magazines and websites dedicated to webcams and live girls. I don't know if I should stay, I know I'm no competition, yet every other boyfriend has been quite content with me alone. I have worked along time to get to the point where I'm confident with myself, but I'm finding his behaviour to be stripping away all the confidence I have accumulated....Should I stay, as even though we've disclussed it throughly, it continues...HELP!

sounds like a typical average male. I find females in those magazines really attractive too, and I always wonder if they can be real or do they only exist within the digital realm. My attitudes to these digitalised models has probably affected my relationships with other real women. Firstly, I think it has made me slightly more shallow and I seem to compare my female friends with for example a model from Victoria Secret.

Nowadays, due to mass media and the ease of obtaining information, images of scantily clad females are available in excess and has affected millions on what real beauty is. Ask any man what they find beautiful in a women. Most will say something physical, and if you put their responses together - you would build up something not far from a magazine model: curves, naughty looks, revealing clothes, etc. you get the picture.

This is very unfortunate. We should be able to make our minds up on what is beatiful without having this sense affected by images online for example.

As for your relationship, it is understandable why you feel unesay about your boyfriend's views. I think this is a real difficult one to handle and maybe the two of you should talk. Is he deeply attracted to you? Or does he take you for granted? Are you being too nice to him?

As for me, I think my female friends are really cool and sexy, otherwise I wouldn't compare them to top models, would I?

Blame it at the media. They via there recommendations of cosmetic to your face. On TV, on magazines, on advertisements and so on. And those chicks attempt to reside as much as that best in order that they reduce away at their self picture. When the reality of the problem is nobody is ideal and also you will have to be blissful with the best way you're. Sure you'll be able to difference your hair, drop a few pounds and so on however it would possibly not satisfy whats within.

You shouldn't have to "compete" with other girls, even if it is just pictures. He needs to either choose you or the magazines, etc. It sounds like you have already told him that you're not comfortable with the situation, and he has made his choice to continue his behavior. Don't think that he will change later on, because most likely he won't. If anything, it will get worse.

Men are visual creatures, it's no big deal if he admires other girls cause obviously he is into you if he's dating you. Women that aren't single talk all the time about how hott a certain guy is so it all evens out.
