You'll get wrinkles at a later age than a woman with dry skin... and when you do get them, you won't get as many. Yay.

Oily skin is both good and bad. It is good in the sense that when you age, you will age more "gracefully". It will be easier for your skin to appear normal as you age if you have oilier skin because it will be less suceptible to dryness.
On the other hand, it may be a problem when you are younger because it may lead to acne, which may leave scarring as you do age.
So the question you have to ask yourself is, "What's the right amount?" That is something to which you will have to ask your doctor.
P.S. on a completely serious note, if your skin is oily now, you may be more naturally "lubricated" as an elder.

Well I guess she was talking about how as you get older your skin drys out. Since you have oily skin when you get older your skin will appear to be what considered normal. You won't be needing moisturizer and you may have fewer wrinkles.

All skin has natural oils. Since yours is more oily, use a good oil-free skin care regimen. A word of warning, NEVER strip your skin of its natural oil, just control it. Use a clay mask to soak it up, an astringent toner, and an oil-free moisturizer. When it comes to make-up, use something that controls the oil, like Clean Make-up from Cover Girl.

Dry skin gives wrinkles, oil skin keeps you younger looking. My skin is oily and I look 15 years younger than I actually am.

Dry skin will wrinkle earlier in life and more extensively, often in a criss-cross pattern, than oily skin.

yes, I think so, you have natural 'hydration' moisture,
you will be glad when yu are older, becaue our skin
tends to get 'drier' as we age, I once had oily skin, in
younge times, now it is oily just on forehead, just use
a good astringent to keep yur pores clean, I hope
you do not smoke, that is very bad for the skin,.

As you get older your skin tends to become dry. Where most wrinkles come from. Your skin should stay smooth & supple long. Since washing looks after the excess oil bit. Not really a big hassle.

people who have oily skin when theyre younger usually have gorgeous skin later because their skin doesnt dry up and wrinkle like other people with dry skin.
