smile inside and be proud, most english speaking people do not have a second language, so you're smarter than they are! Just from this short question here, you sound like you have a very good grasp on English, which is supposed to be the most difficult language to learn. Be confident, you have a valuable skill.

Don't be shy. You should be proud that you know another language. I wish that I could say the same. I have been trying to learn Italian and spanish for quite some time and I cannot put together a sentence as well composed as the question you asked. So, I give you great applause.
If you still feel like you want to learn more, it is always a good idea to take up a language class at a community college or a rec center. The funner side to learning is watching movies, listening to music, speaking with friends, and talking in that speceific language on a daily basis.

Goodluck! :D

Try joining an English language conversation group. These can be found in various places. Community colleges often have them, and you may be able to find some by prowling around online. If you find one, you may have the opportunity to practice speaking English with other people who are still just learning.

Your written English is good, by the way. It does need a little bit of work, but not very much.

If you can i would start off with people who can speak a little more english than you can then work your way up to fluent english speakers. If your dont have time to do that just be confident by practicing and if your lost at what they are saying just ask, they will understand it difficult for you.

Good luck!

Just practice more. I had the same problem as you but not anymore. English is also my second language. There is no need to be shy.

Just know that we won't think you're an idiot if you mess up and say the wrong thing. We understand how hard it is to learn a new language, and aplaud you for trying. The best thing you can do is just practice, and when you mess up learn from it and keep going. What is your native language?

don't worry. they know you're not an english speaker. they probably admire you for knowing more than one language. i wish i could speak more than one language pretty fluently. practice with good friends, and as time goes on you'll get better and better! good luck!
